Childbirth Class

Preparing for Your Big Day. Attending childbirth classes can help you approach the big day with confidence. Knowing what to expect during labor, delivery and recovery can reduce the anxiety you may have about your hospital stay. Experienced educators will introduce the labor and delivery process and provide you with breathing and relaxation techniques that will be beneficial. Additionally, they will help you better understand the scope of birthing, medication and anesthesia options. You will also receive a tour of the LDR & Post-Partum Suites. Refreshments will be provided.

The class is free, but registration is required as space is limited. Call (877) 907-7642 to register. It is suggested that you attend classes after 28 weeks gestation. Each class consists of two evenings from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

To attend these free childbirth classes - you must be planning on deliverying at Madison River Oaks Medical Center.
