Community-Wide Topping Off Ceremony
Construction Site of Madison River Oaks
Nissan Parkway, Exit 118-B
Tuesday, October 12, 2010 – 5:00-7:00 pm
Even the first rain in more than a month, which hit right at the start of the Madison River Oaks Topping Off Ceremony, didn't affect the enthusiasm and size of the crowd. Nearly 400 members of the community – who filled a tent located in front of the new hospital – joined leaders from Health Management and the River Oaks Network to celebrate the placing of the last steel beam on top of the new Madison River Oaks facility – which will open in Summer 2011.
Speakers included Canton Mayor William Truly; Madison County Supervisor Tim Johnson; Joe Pinion, Division 4 President; Randy Holly, Health Management VP of Construction and Development; Glen Silverman, Madison River Oaks CEO; and Linda Dunigan, chairwoman of the Friends of Madison River Oaks community group.
